Lovelace Society: RoboQuest
RoboQuest is a robotics competition designed to challenge participants with a series of progressively
complex tasks. Each stage demands quick thinking, precise execution, and a solid grasp of robotics
fundamentals, from sensor integration to control systems. Teams advance by solving puzzles and completing
technical challenges, with each solution unlocking the next level.
AI tools are permitted, encouraging innovative approaches and modern problem-solving techniques. It’s not
just a test of technical skill, it's a measure of adaptability, teamwork, and strategy.
Vasudha: GeoExplorers
A multi-stage geoscience competition testing teams on stratigraphy, rock identification, paleogeography storytelling, and creative geo-content creation. Begins with an online qualifier (Geo‐ Meme, and a Time Travel pitch), followed by an offline finale featuring Pictionary and a Real Treasure Hunt (stratigraphic mapping & sample ID).

QCell: Quizzar
A thrilling Science and General Knowledge Quiz designed to foster quick thinking, teamwork, and scientific curiosity. The quiz will follow a Pounce & Bounce format with a competitive
Prelims and an engaging Final Round. Internal student teams will register via Google Form and participate directly in the Prelims. The winning IISER Berhampur team will face off against
invited quiz teams from Berhampur and Bhubaneswar in a grand finale featuring 8–9 teams.

Chemshala: Squid Lab
The event consists of five interactive rounds blending fun games with chemistry challenges. Round 1 is Rock, Paper, Scissors, where winners advance directly and losers can requalify by answering simple chemistry questions. Round 2, Red Light, Green Light, adds speed and distance, with failed players answering a question to stay in. In Round 3, Mingle, participants form groups within circles when music stops; incorrect answers to medium-level questions lead to elimination. Round 4, Believe or Betray, lets players keep or pass chemistry questions to others, with strategic sharing at the end. The final Chemistry Door round tests knowledge one last time before awarding success tokens to those who qualify.

2.Eco Battle Cards is a competitive, debate-based card game where each card represents an element of
the natural world—species, ecosystems, or ecological phenomena. Each team receives a randomized mini-deck and faces off against another team by arguing why their card “wins” based on ecological logic,
card stats, and environmental knowledge.
The event includes interactive features like booster cards that provide bonus powers or impose penalties,
which can be activated by performing tasks or answering questions. Teams compete in elimination rounds until a single winner emerges.

LaVida x Naxatra: IBSRA - 2.0
Interactive astro-bio based educational hands-on competition.
Gameshow style scientific simulation based planetary alteration and logistics mock-run, for potential future habitation. Spectroscopic analysis of bio signatures using real word data. Holistic design and modelling of synthetic organisms compatible with the
biochemistry of the host planet.
